High G-actin concentrations works...
TMR-Actin is native G-actin covalently modified with tetramethylrhodamine 5-maleimide at Cys374. TMR-
Actin from Hypermol is tested as supplied to be monomeric up to 20mg/ml.

Protein description
|
|
G-actin from rabbit skeletal muscle is a single chain polypeptide with a molecular
weight of 42kD consisting of 375 amino acids. TMR-Aactin is chemically modified
G-actin, carrying a tetramethlyrhodamine group covalently bound to Cys374 at the
C-term of the molecule.
