NeuroVue? Dye Filters for NEURONAL TRACT TRACING
형광색소를 이용한 신경세포 tracer
 
 
조직의 신경경로 탐색에 유용한 fluorescence tracer를 사용하기 쉬운 시트 모양으로 만든 제품입니다. 형광색소를 application한 나일론 시트를 조직에 부착하기만 하면, 형광색소가 세포 내에 침투하여, 신경세포체에서 축삭[axon, axis cylinder, Axon, Achsenzylinder, 軸索]과 수상돌기[dendrite, 樹狀突起]까지 경로 전체를 표지 할 수 있습니다. 색소는 시트 부착 부위에서 수 밀리미터의 깊이까지 침투합니다.  1 cm × 1 cm의 나일론 시트에 각 형광 색소를 application 하고 있으며(Application 농도는 약 11 ~ 14 nmol/mm2 ), 고농도(약 18 ~ 21 nmol / mm2)로 형광색소를 application 한 NeuroVue Red Plus(# FS-1007)도 있습니다. Far-red 형광의 제품을 비롯해 다양한 형광을 발하는 제품이 있습니다.

Advantages of SRfluor? Dyes:
  • Convenient, ready-to-use coated filter format
  • More precise control of dye insertion point
  • No messy oils, pastes or hard-to-position crystals
  • Diffusion properties comparable to or better than other commercially available neurotracing dyes
  • More focal results (e.g. labeling of small sets of axons within a pathway)
  • Available in multiple colors, including far red, for multi-tract tracing and improved results even in tissues with high myelin expression

Figure 3: Simultaneous labeling of afferent and efferent fibers in the vestibular system using NeuroVue? Maroon and NeuroVue? Red. After perfusion fixation, NeuroVue? Maroon (green) was injected into the cerebellum and NeuroVue? Red into the superior vestibular nucleus of a 7 day old juvenile mouse and dyes were allowed to diffuse for 4 weeks at 36°C. Labeled fibers to the three vestibular end-organs (utricle, U; anterior crista, AC; horizontal crista, HC) were readily visualized (Panel A) and both overlap and segregation were seen for both sets of fiber types in a given end-organ (e.g., U in Panel A). Neurons of the vestibular ganglion exhibited some clustering but showed largely an intermingled distribution (Panel B). [Beisel et al. Journal of Vestibular Research, 15:225-241, 2005.]

NeuroVue Red, Maroon and Jade are also available in solid form for researchers who would like to make their own dye-coated materials for application to tissue (e.g. use for coating glass/metal pins or pieces of hair to provide a more rigid support when smaller injections are required).
