Porcine Aortic Endothelial Cells

PoAECs (cAP-p0001) are isolated from adult porcine aorta. The cells are shipped in proliferating culture

with >90 confluence (the cells are provided @ passage 2) or in a frozen vial. Porcine Endothelial Growth

Medium (PoEGM, cAP-02p) is recommended for the expansion of PoAECs and these cells can be

propagated to sixth passage and beyond without losing their morphologic and phenotypic characteristics

when cultured following the detailed protocol described below).

Porcine Pulmonary Artery Endothelial Cells

pPulAECs (cAP-p0002) are isolated from adult porcine pulmonary arteries. The cells are shipped in

proliferating culture with >90 confluence (the cells are provided @ passage 2). Endo-Growth Medium (cAP-

02) is recommended for the expansion of pAECs and these cells can be propagated to sixth passage and

beyond without losing their morphologic and phenotypic characteristics when cultured following the detailed

protocol described below).

Porcine Coronary Artery Endothelial Cells

pCAAECs (cAP-p0007) are isolated from adult porcine coronary arteries. The cells are shipped in

proliferating culture with >90 confluence (the cells are provided @ passage 2). Endo-Growth Medium (cAP-

02) is recommended for the expansion of pCAAECs and these cells can be propagated to sixth passage and

beyond without losing their morphologic and phenotypic characteristics when cultured following the detailed

protocol described below).

Characterization of the cells

PECAM1: >95% positive by immunofluorescence

VE-Cadherin: >95% positive by immunofluorescence

PoAECs are tested negative for mycoplasma.
