Alenphosome™ - Alendronate Liposomes (Neutral)

Alendronate molecules are encapsulated in liposomes for superior activity, physical and chemical stability,

and convenience of use. The liposomal encapsulation efficiency of alendronate is no less than 90%. The

product is suitable for dosing with various routes including intravenous, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous,

intranasal, intratracheal and etc. It is sterile filtered for long term shelf-life. There are some but limited studies

on Alendronate liposomes and this product is made available for research studies only.

• Active: alendronate sodium (CAS 121268-17-5), 5.0 mg/mL

• Volume: 2.0 mL

• Lipid composition: phosphatidylcholine and cholesterol

• Internal/External solution: phosphate buffered saline (20mM sodium phosphate, 09wt% NaCl), pH 7.0 - 7.5

• Usage: warm to room temperature and mix well before use.

• Dosage: this is a new product and no recommended dose is available at this point. Refer the following
