Cellular Fractionation, FOCUS™ Mitochondria Kit

Specifically designed for the isolation of intact mitochondria from cultured mammalian cells. This kit allows

for the fast and efficient fractionation of the cytoplasm of cultured mammalian cells into an enriched fraction of

mitochondria.  The majority (>90%) of the mitochondria have intact inner and outer membranes and therefore

retain their functionality.

This kit is highly adaptable for use with animal tissues and other sources of mitochondria. The kit is

designed for 50 preps, where one prep is equivalent to 2x107 mammalian cells or 100mg mammalian tissue.
