RiboLace XL system

Immagina Biotechnology have just launched the RiboLace XL system, an extended version of RiboLace

Module 1. This new kit is meant to address customer needs related to lower amount of input of active

ribosomes. RiboLace Module XL contains more RiboLace smart probe and beads as the RiboLace Module 1

so that customer can pull down more active ribosomes from the same sample.

Features:

• For a given amount of cells customers can pull down 3x times more RPFs by using a larger amount of cell

  lysate

• No need for multiple pull downs

• Higher yield of RPFs as input for LACEseq or alternative small RNA library preparation systems.

• Suitable for samples with lower translational activity such as primary cells in culture, smaller amount of

  tissue samples, or cells where translation is partly repressed

RiboLace XL contains all reagents to isolate active ribosomes by affinity purification and magnetic

separation. Thanks to additional beads, control and probes compared with standard RiboLace (Cat. no.

RL001_Mod1) this product is suggested for the experimental designs which include challenging samples, like

ones with low translational rates.

The kit is compatible with the PAGExt RPF gel extraction kit (Cat. no. #KGE-002) and with the LACEseq

RiboSeq library preparation kit (LACEseq Cat. no. #LS-001) and is suitable for eukaryotic cell lines and

tissues
